In 1974, Ron & Tana Berglan accepted the Ernest Holmes Company distributorship and opened Oklahoma Wrecker & Equipment Sales.  Ron worked as general manager and lone salesman from a borrowed office until he moved the business to its current location in 1978.  In 1994, we lost our founder, Ron, to a heart attack.  Taking a step into a mostly male-dominated field, Tana chose to continue operating Oklahoma Wrecker as sole owner.  
     Currently we have our general manager, Jerry Mattivi.  Jerry has over thirty years experience in the towing industry and was inducted into the Towing Hall of Fame in 1987.  Jerry has worked for the Ernest Holmes company, Vulcan Equipment Company, and also owned his own business in Kansas City for twenty five years.
    We have two full time salesmen working to cover all of our customers' new and used truck needs.  Doyle Martin works the Southern corridor from I-40 in Oklahoma City south.  Doyle has gained most of his experience operating and selling heavy-duty towing and recovery equipment for the past 23 years, and has been with us since 2003. Bob McGaugh works the Northern region from I-40 north. Bob gained most his knowledge in the towing industry through his experience as a driver, mechanic, and dispatcher since 1992. Bob, the newest addition to our team, has been with us since April 2007.     
    To provide better and more efficient service, we have two full time mechanics in our shop.  James Wilson is our shop foreman and parts manager, and has been with Oklahoma Wrecker for 7 years. James handles our electrical, motor, and air conditioning needs.  Tom Musgrave has been with us since 2004.  With his extensive time spent as a mechanic and driver in the wrecker industry, he has been a terrific addition to the team. Also in our parts department, Scott Larson is here to accommodate any of your parts needs. Scott has been with us since April 2007 and has a wide-range of experience in the towing industry as a previous owner/operator of his own towing business in Wisconsin.

    We sell the Miller Industries equipment line, including Vulcan, Century, Champion, Challenger, Holmes, and Eagle.  We provide parts, accessories and service for all major brands of towing and recovery equipment.  All of us at Oklahoma Wrecker will do whatever it takes to keep you, our customer, on the road and satisfied.
